Criminal Mischief, Skipped Court Dates in Oxford

Oxford man charged after damaging home.

Danel Vaivoda, 46, of Oxford, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief on August 19 at approximately 10:44 a.m.

According to police, officers responded to a disturbance on Oxford Road and upon arrival discovered Vaivoda had damaged a glass window and gas grill.

Vaivoda was released on $2,500 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Derby Superior Court on August 20.

William Kirhoffer, 23, of Oxford, was charged with second-degree failure to appear on August 22 at approximately 3:42 p.m. at his Oxford residence on a prawn warrant for failing to appear for an August 15 court date.

Kirhoffer was released on $5,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on August 28.
