[Multimedia] Oxford, Seymour Students Encouraged Take a Stand Against Drunk Driving

Event held at Seymour High School on Friday.

More than 300 high school juniors from Oxford and Seymour high schools were shown the harsh realities of the dangers of drinking and driving Friday morning.

The schools held the annual Take a Stand Day! at Seymour High School. Students listened to a speaker from Mothers Against Drunk Driving and saw a mock accident organized by emergency services crews from Seymour and Oxford.

Oxford Patch was there and took videos and photos. We plan to update this report later today with an article, as well.

If someone from this worthwhile effort can contact us at the TV Show, "Looking Up: A View From The Valley" (email: lookingupvalley@gmail.com), we would greatly appreciate it. We can do either a short Public Service Announcement and run it during future shows, or devote an entire episode to the subject matter. Thanks so much! :)
