Oxford Girl, 3, Dies Following Motor Vehicle Collision
Lily Brooks passed away over the weekend, police confirm.
A 3-year-old girl who was involved in a motor vehicle collision on Wednesday passed away over the weekend, state police confirmed on Monday.
Lily Brooks, 3, of Quaker Farms Road, passed at Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford early Saturday afternoon.
"We are trying to allow time to give the family the privacy, respect and support that they need at this point," said Resident Trooper Sgt. Dan Semosky, head of the Oxford Resident Trooper's Office. "It's a very sad and tough situation. We will be following through with a very detailed and complete investigation into this motor vehicle collision."
