Oxford Residents Charged With Drunken Driving in Neighboring Town

Matthew Morgan, 29, of Oxford was charged with DUI and failure to drive to the right on July 12 at approximately 2:15 a.m. after police observed him driving erratically on Route 67 in Southbury.

Morgan was released on $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 27.

Preng Pergjoka, 60, of Oxford was charged with DUI and failure to drive to the right on July 14 at approximately 3:25 a.m. after police observed him driving erratically on Route 67 in Southbury.

Pergjoka was released on $750 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 24.
