Police: Oxford Woman Steals $763 Worth of DVDs

19-year-old local woman and 20-year-old Seymour woman are arrested for the alleged Naugatuck crime.

 

An Oxford woman was one of two charged in Naugatuck with stealing $763 worth of DVDs from the electronics department at Walmart.

Naugatuck police said Chelsea Hitzler, 19, of 47 East Hill Road, Oxford, and Allyson Quinn, 20, of 29 Farrel St., Seymour, plotted to steal from the store and acted out their plot earlier this month. They were charged with fifth-degree larceny and conspiracy at fifth-degree larceny. Quinn was also charged with criminal trespass.

They were released on written promises to appear at Waterbury Superior Court today.
