The department is looking for Brittani Davis, 16, who was last seen on Feb. 7 around 5 p.m.

Police say Davis frequently runs away from home and is often found in the West Haven area. Police said that they were keeping track of her whereabouts and well-being based on phone calls she was making from certain areas of the state. But Davis abruptly stopped making those phone calls to family and friends in Naugatuck three days ago.

So, the Naugatuck Police Department posted information yesterday evening (Monday, Feb. 19) on its Facebook page about Davis to get the public involved.

Based on her history, police do not have reason to believe that Davis is in trouble at this point, said Lt. Bryan Cammarata, Naugatuck police spokesman. He said officers in West Haven area also searching for Davis.

Davis is listed as 5-feet, 5-inches tall and weighs 120 bounds. She has brown eyes and medium length brown hair.

Anyone who has information about Davis' whereabouts is urged to contact police at 203.729.5221.
