State Police Seek Witnesses in Fatal Crash

The car accident took place early Saturday morning on I-84 in Middlebury, the Hartford Courant reports.

 

Connecticut state police are looking for answers as they launch an investigation into a car accident that claimed the life of a driver early Saturday morning on Interstate 84 in Middlebury.

The one-vehicle accident occurred at about 2 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, on I-84 West, according to the Hartford Courant. Police have not released the driver's identity yet, the Courant reports.

The accident is at least the third fatal crash since September along this stretch of highway. A Naugatuck woman was killed in late September and a Massachusetts woman was killed in November.
