Two Break Ins in Oxford

State police report thefts.

According to state police, there were two thefts in Oxford this past week:

  • At 4:33 p.m. on Tuesday, police reported that paintball guns and equipment were stolen from a storage trailer on Quaker Farms Road.  The same night, someone forcibly entered a Thorson Road residence and a detached garage, and stole power tools, state police reported. Both incidents are under investigation, and anyone with information is urged to contact the Oxford Resident Trooper's Office at 203.888.4353.
  • Storm drains were stolen off public roads near the Waterbury-Oxford Airport Tuesday morning, . Two galvanized steel drains were stolen from Christian Street around 9:20 a.m. In November, seven similar drains were taken from Woodruff Hill Road. Anyone with information can contact the Oxford Resident Trooper's Office at 203.888.4353.
