The man had a minor facial cut and was treated by EMTs but did not require hospitalization after the Wednesday morning incident on Christian Road in Oxford, police stated in a news release.

Belanger was charged with second-degree assault, second-degree breach of peace, second-degree threatening and second-degree reckless endangerment. She was released on a $10,000 bond and arraigned at Derby Superior Court on Thursday. The case is now awaiting disposition at the courthouse, according to state Judicial Branch records.
