Describe why you are running in 300 words or less:

I am a long-time Valley resident and really love the town. I have volunteered my time to help build the gazebo at Center School and the bleachers at the high school. I'm also a very dedicated father and am also disciplined in earning the rank of 5th degree black belt and am also a licensed pilot. I'm also as business owner and own Jeff Haney& Sons Builders and also have two karate schools in Oxford and Shelton and could use my skills as a business owner to help our town run better.

As a business owner, I know the importance of budgets and paying your bills on time and know how important it is to respect both employees and town citizens. Also am a tireless worker who would work to fix up the roads in town and keep taxes low.
I am very honored to be involved in the town of Oxford and was honored to be asked by George R. Temple to run as selectman on his ticket. The town is growing very fast and sometimes that's a blessing but presents its problems. George wants to make Oxford a better place to live and I applaud his efforts and agree that we have to be innovative and come in with new and fresh ideas in order to keep taxes down but provide the needed services.
