Press Release from CT Lottery

CT Lottery players now have more than 310 million reasons to get into the Powerball game!  The Powerball jackpot for Saturday night's drawing is worth an estimated $310 million with a projected cash value of $193.4 million, setting a new all-time high record.  The old record of $177,000,000 was set six years ago on Feb. 18, 2006.

"CT Lottery had the incredible good fortune of awarding the largest prize ever won in lottery history on November 2, 2011—a $254.2 million Powerball jackpot,” said CT Lottery’s President and CEO, Anne M. Noble.  "We're hoping that Saturday night's lucky numbers produce another jackpot prize winner from the Nutmeg State."
