Dog Appeal Would Go Through State Department

Valley Independent Sentinel reports that the owner of two Newfoundlands set to be killed will have to appeal to the state Department of Agriculture.

The owner of two Newfoundland dogs that are set to be euthenized because they attacked and killed another dog at Jackson Cove Park will have to appeal to the state Department of Agriculture, according to an article in the Valley Independent Sentinel.

, the dog owner, said she will appeal the ruling, and the Sentinel quotes state officials as saying they will listen to both sides before determining whether the kill order will stand.
