If you have a question, concern or opinion you'd like to share with Gov. Dannel P. Malloy, then you won't have to travel too far.
Malloy will host a community forum at Naugatuck High School’s Library Resource Room on Wednesday, March 27, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. The high school is located at 543 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck.
According to a release from the Governor's Office, these town hall-style events provide Malloy an opportunity to discuss the state’s pressing issues face-to-face with state residents.
The 2013 legislative session is well underway and Malloy and the General Assembly are wrestling with issues that range from a state budget to gun control and mental health issues, the latter of which are responses to the Dec. 14 shooting at Sandy Hook School in Newtown.
The forum is open to the public, and seats are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Those who would like an opportunity to ask a question should arrive early to fill out the sign-up sheet, the release states. Doors open at 6:15 p.m.
