Oxford Democrats to Elect New Town Committee

The party is holding a caucus Jan. 8 to select residents to serve on the 2014-16 Democratic Town Committee.

The Oxford Democratic Town Committee is pleased to announce the formation of a search committee to seek qualified Democrats to serve on the 2014-16 Democratic Town Committee. The candidates will be presented to the caucus of Oxford Democrats on Jan. 8., at 8 p.m., at Oxford Town Hall. 

"This is an opportunity for members of the Oxford Democratic community to meet other Democrats and become involved in the selection of Democratic candidates for local appointed and elected positions," according to Ann Crane, Chairman of the Oxford Democratic Town Committee. "Town committee members are involved in the active participation in races for Congress, Governor and other statewide offices and State Senate and Representative seats for the next two years."

Oxford residents who are interested in becoming active members of the next Oxford Democratic Town Committee or would like more information are invited to contact any current member of the town committee or annkrane@sbcglobal.net.
