Stamford's own, Lieberman reportedly has a sandwich named after him at Kosh, a new all-kosher restaurant downtown.

LIEBERMAN: Sen. Joe Lieberman is said to be a frequent diner at , a new all-kosher restaurant in downtown Stamford (). We have a , named after the senator.

BLUMENTHAL: Sen. Richard Blumenthal got some Twitter #FF and Re-Tweet love on this Tweet, which links during to a press release about restricting smokeless tobacco use among MLBers and also giving money to anti-smoking efforts:

Blumenthal announces @MLB’s historic steps in fight against big #tobacco http://bit.ly/HxWUGq

DELAURO: Saying that women’s presence in the nation’s workforce has achieved unprecedented levels, woman, Rep. Rosa DeLauro (CT-3) led a panel of experts at Quinnipiac University this week that discussed striking inequities in how woman are paid and what level of job security they are assured in comparison to male counterparts.

HIMES: Rep. Jim Himes (CT-4) that discussed a recent, seemingly emotional trip to Alabama for a “Faith and Politics Institute pilgrimage to the fabled battlefields of the Civil Rights movement in Alabama: Birmingham, Montgomery, and Selma.”

Observes Himes in his post: “The shotgun shacks and hardscrabble fields I glimpsed from the road hinted at the poverty and anxiety that blinded (and blinds) the fearful to the redemptive possibilities of progressive change. And even now, the Confederate flags that decorate portraits in the State House and mud-splattered bumpers suggest a longing for the cult of power, race, and betrayed destiny that long ordered the worlds of generations of whites.”

MURPHY: Rep. Chris Murphy (CT-5) on Friday sent out some love to his friends in the Twitterverse who began observing Passover at sundown:

Chag sameach to all my friends celebrating the start of Passover tonight!

Great to see IMTI leading the way into the solar future! I went to that school specifically toRead More become a solar electrician. It was before they had a solar program, at the time it was the E-2 electrical course. I see America has a chance to build prosperity again if we will be forward-looking about our manufacturing and energy strategies. My company, Made In USA Solar LLC, aims to contribute to that in a small way, doing what we can by only installing materials made in USA. Congrats to IMTI on their ambitious solar plans!

Archie, Your wrong. Constitutions were written for a reason not to determine whether it's a livingRead More document or not. Politicians and or Anti-Americans only believe that the constitutions are a dead document. They are excuses to put forth an agenda. Without Constitutions this country would be chaos and we wouldn't have the freedoms we have today. Only in your eye's does the words not apply because you think government can prevent and do anything they want. It's the people that rule, NOT THE POLITICIANS!

That is looking at the Constitution as a dead piece of paper instead of a living document. LivingRead More Constitutions read as if they were written yesterday not over 250 years ago. Is the Constitution living or dead. When common sense and ordinary circumstances show that the words of the Constitution no longer apply then the document is dead. That is what occurs when weapons/arms have become so powerful and dangerous that having them available in the numbers you have in this country is tantamount to ultimate murder and chaos. This is definitely not what the Framers had in mind as shown by the words prefacing the 2nd amendment referring to a militia.
