Oxford Ranks High For Economic Stress-Free Living in Connecticut

Oxford has a low poverty rate.

If you want to enjoy living in Connecticut and in a pretty stress free environment then Oxford is a top choice for you. 

Oxford ranked the third least distressed town in Connecticut for economic well-being, according to the state Department of Economic and Community Development, the Waterbury American-Republican reports. 

"Oxford had several positive economic indicators, such as very low poverty rate, population gain, increased employment numbers, newer housing stock, and a relatively low unemployment rate," DECD spokesman James Wallen said to the Waterbury Republican-American.
