Sen. Rob Kane, R-Watertown, announced that he received an A rating and official endorsement from the National Rifle Association.
In a letter from the NRA, the organization states the endorsement "is a reflection of Senator Kane's support for Second Amendment legislation while serving in the CT General Assembly."
In response, Kane, whose 32nd District covers Oxford, said it is an honor and a privilege to have the endorsement as a proud defender of Second Amendment rights and the rights of law abiding gun owners.
