The town reminds residents of the parking ban law.

Town officials remind residents of the parking ordinance for snow days. The following is the full text of the ordinance:

"Any constable, police officer or road foreman or his assistant is hereby authorized to have removed and towed away by commercial towing service, any car or other vehicle parked within the limits of any highway in such a manner as to obstruct snow removal between the hours of 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., from Dec. 1 to the ensuing March 31.

"Cars so towed away for illegal parking shall be stored in a safe place and shall only be restored to the owner or operator of such vehicle upon payment of the cost of towing and storage fees.
