Oxford Center School to Hold Play This Week

Performances of Blue Suede Paws to be held Wednesday through Saturday.

students will present a monster spoof play called “Blue Suede Paws” in the school’s auditorium this week.

The one-act play, set in the 1950s, focuses on a boy who is bullied. In an attempt to turn his life around, the boy visits a mad scientist who turns him into a werewolf who ends up upstaging the bully.

Center School students in the play will present songs titled “Those Eyes, Those Lips, That Face,” “Blue Suede Paws,” and “All Messed Up.”

Performances will be held this week at the following times:

  • 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday
  • 7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday
  • 2 p.m. on Saturday

Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for seniors and children ages 2 to 12. And children under 2 will be admitted free.
