From Thursday to Saturday, Wolverine Theater Players held three performances of the Tony Award-winning musical "Guys and Dolls,” a musical based on the story and characters of Damon Runyon, book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows and music and lyrics by Frank Loesser.
In “Guys and Dolls,” the student peformers told the story of a group of gamblers, including Nathan Detroit, who are looking for a place in mythical New York City to hold a floating dice game in the 1940s. The show follows the courtship of Save-a-Soul officer, Sarah Brown, and gambler Sky Masterson.
Hundreds of people attended the show.
