Oxford Schools Hiring Speech and Language Pathologist

Oxford Public Schools currently has an opening for a Speech and Language Pathologist.

According to a job posting on the district's website, the qualified candidate will:

  • Identify, evaluate and provide speech intervention for identified students.
  • Help collaborate with general and special education teachers and related service personnel to support student access to the general education curriculum.
  • Be responsible for the development and implementation of IEP goals across a continuum of settings.
  • Have experience with students requiring assistive technology or augmentative communication programs is preferred.
  • Possess a valid CT certification for Speech and Language Pathologist (#061)
  • A Speech Language Pathology License (or pre-approval pending completion of one supervised year of full-time employment) with the State of CT Dept. of Public Health is also required.

The salary is per the OEA Collective Bargaining agreement.
