Oxford Schools to Dismiss Early Today

There will be no afternoon kindergarten.

The Oxford Public School system will close early today because of impending snow.

The schools will be dismissed at the following times:

  • Oxford High School: 11:30 a.m.
  • Great Oak Middle School: 12:45 p.m.
  • Oxford Center School: 1:20 p.m.
  • Quaker Farms Elementary School: 1:25 p.m.

There will be no afternoon kindergarten of pre-kindergarten, and all after school activities are cancelled.

Archie, Your wrong. Constitutions were written for a reason not to determine whether it's a living…Read More document or not. Politicians and or Anti-Americans only believe that the constitutions are a dead document. They are excuses to put forth an agenda. Without Constitutions this country would be chaos and we wouldn't have the freedoms we have today. Only in your eye's does the words not apply because you think government can prevent and do anything they want. It's the people that rule, NOT THE POLITICIANS!

That is looking at the Constitution as a dead piece of paper instead of a living document. Living…Read More Constitutions read as if they were written yesterday not over 250 years ago. Is the Constitution living or dead. When common sense and ordinary circumstances show that the words of the Constitution no longer apply then the document is dead. That is what occurs when weapons/arms have become so powerful and dangerous that having them available in the numbers you have in this country is tantamount to ultimate murder and chaos. This is definitely not what the Framers had in mind as shown by the words prefacing the 2nd amendment referring to a militia.
