Oxford Will Dedicate Field During Ceremony Tonight

The event will include an evening of fun and fireworks.

Oxford First Selectman George R. Temple announced Wednesday that there will be a dedication ceremony for the newly constructed athletic fields at Oxford High School on Sunday, Aug. 25, from 7 p.m. to approximately 8:30 p.m.

This event is open to the public and will be held at the Oxford High School athletic fields located at 61 Quaker Farms Road.

The Oxford High School Booster Club will be selling snacks and refreshments at this ceremony.

There will be a performance by The Connecticut Hurricanes Drum and Bugle Corps with a fireworks display to close out the evening.

All are encouraged to come and enjoy this exciting event.
