Quaker Farms Adds Extra Kindergarten Registration Day
One more chance to register Oxford kindergarteners for the 2014-15 academic year.
Oxford schools have added an additional day for kindergarten registration on Thursday, April 24, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Quaker Farms School.
Incoming students must be turning 5 years old by Jan. 1, 2015.
Parents and guardians should download, print and complete the registration forms before the session, though extras will be available on registration day.
The forms can be downloaded from the district website.
Parents will need to bring the original birth certificate with the raised seal along with a copy, proof of residence (current utility bill), along with a copy, and current immunizations. Children do not have to come.
Children will need a physical examination within 1 year of the first day of school. All required immunizations must be documented before starting kindergarten.
Vision and hearing screenings will not take place during kindergarten registration. They should be done during the doctor’s physical.
