Oxford's children matter, and you were not afraid to let others know! This week proved to be one of our most popular Readers Choice polls with more than 200 votes cast for your favorite pre-schools.
ranked first with 128 total votes, while Christ Church preschool got a nice comment. Here were the comments for the contest:
- Oxford Board of Education member Stephen C. Brown said his daughter was at KinderCare from age six months to age six. "We loved the work they did in preparing her for school and in providing a consistently excellent program," he said in our comments field. "They maintain a consistent core staff that has many years of experience working with children of all age levels. Ms. Betty, Ms. Carmen, Ms. Amanda and Ms. Christine and others provide a degree of continuity that is hard to match in this field. My family owes a debt of gratitude to all the staff that have cared for and loved my daughter over the years. They have already won in my book!"
- Therese Garere said has offered her son "an awesome preschool experience." "The teachers are very knowledgeable and kind," she said. "They really cater to each individual child enabling them to learn, grow and have fun at the same time."
- And Prudence Daily Weaver said Kiddie Kastle in Seymour has a large Oxford enrollment.
