Impressive Season Underway for Wolverine Wrestlers

The Oxford High wrestling team has racked up an overall 7-1 record and remains undefeated in SWC action.

As the Oxford High School Wolverines wrap up week four of the wrestling season, their accomplishments at meets and tournaments put them at an impressive 7 - 1 (overall), 3 - 0 (SWC) record.

The Wolverine's next two meets are both at home—on Wednesday, Jan. 15, against Weston, and Wednesday, Jan. 22, against New Fairfield. Both begin at 6 p.m.

Oxford will also be holding their annual Valley of Champions tournament on Saturday, Jan. 25, in the OHS main gym. Wrestling begins at 10 a.m. and finals are expected to finish by 5 p.m. All are encouraged to come cheer on the Wolverines.
