What started out as a night to honor players in their program quickly turned not-so-fun for Oxford as a hot shooting Weston team had a 22 point lead by halftime. That would all change the second half when the Wolverines got the hot hand and made it a close game. Unfortunately, the deficit was too much and Oxford lost 66-53.
Oxford was led by Jason Mraz who scored 18 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and blocked six shots. Steve Mahoney and Antonio Lopez added 12 and seven points, respectedly.
Weston's attack was led by Charlie DiPasquale who had a game high 27 points. Asher Lee-Tyson added 13 and Grant Limone contributed five.
Oxford will be in action again Tuesday for their final game of the season at Stratford.
