Oxford Girls' Soccer Wins Second Straight

Wolverines beat Notre Dame of Fairfield 9-1 on Friday.

 

The Oxford Wolverine girls' soccer team defeated Notre Dame of Fairfield 9-1 Friday for its second straight victory.

The girls were led by Rachel Giannettino, who scored twice for Oxford, which improves to 2-7 on the season.

Oxford's other goal scorers were Melanie Ciancola, Kristen Au, Makena Hillman, Julia Low-Leung, Taylor Drayton and Liz Lozotte. Clara McGee had three saves for Oxford.

Notre Dame goal keeper Lauren Berard had 12 saves.
