Oxford Is in the Running for Coolest Football Helmets
The Oxford High School football team has can win a statewide contest for best football helmet.
The Oxford High School Wolverines are in the championship round for the best helmet design contest, which was put together by SportsEdge, a website affiliated with WTNH News 8. Oxford fans cast more than 16,000 votes to give the team the "edge" to get into the final round against perennial state powerhouse Ansonia.
