Pinch hitter Katelyn Wentz hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the sixth inning to propel the softball team to a 6-4 victory over Laurelton Hall of Milford on Wednesday.

With her team down 4-3, Wentz found herself at the plate with two outs and two strikes against her. With ice water running through her veins, Wentz crushed a home run, scoring courtesy runner Bobbie Stilson and Veronica Cirricione, who had singled in pitcher Ashley Guillette in the sixth.

Guillette was once again impressive with the softball in her hand, striking out 15 and allowing just four hits.
