wrestlers completed their successful regular season finishing 17-6 overall after placing fifth at the South-West Conference Championship this weekend.
The team finished 10-1 in the SWC and secured its second SWC Patriot Division Championship.
At the SWC championships on Sunday, OHS brought home four place winners. Oxford had its first SWC first-place champion in Senior Captain Benjamin Blue at 160 pounds.
Sophomore Steven Persson finished strong with a second place at 145 pounds. Junior William Denslow secured third at 152 pounds, and junior Christopher Manley placed fouth at 138 pounds.
The team will compete this weekend at Killingworth High School in the Class S state tournament.
