The Oxford Lions Club has announced its second annual Giant Pumpkin Contest, which is open to all Oxford students.
Prizes are $100 for first, $50 for second and $25 for third.
Pumpkins must be grown in Oxford and participants must sign up at their school or the .
Seeds are available from the Oxford Lions on a first come, first serve basis, or contestants may use their own seeds. Judging will take place Sept. 8th to the 23rd. For additional information, contact Joe Persico 203-261-6519 or Dan Palaez 203-906-0444.
