Photobook: 10th-Annual Colonial Tavern Car Show

Car show raises money for non-profit organization.

On Sunday, Colonial Tavern in Oxford held its 10th-annual car show. This year's show benefited Connecticut Partnership for Children, Inc., a non-profit organization that helps support the children of low-income families throughout Connecticut by working with their families and the communities in which they live.

Attendees enjoyed great food, music, raffles and the use of the pool.

If anyone has photos of the firemen's car show on Saturday, please share them with us and we will post them. We tried to make it to both car shows but could not get someone out to Saturday's event at Oxford Center Fire Co. Thanks.

When I see tires burning out like this, I think of Clark W. Griswold from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. "Burn some dust, eat my rubber!" ..."Ummm, Dad, I believe that's burn rubber, eat my dust."...."Whatever, Russ, whatever." - Classic movie.

Craig: You're an avid reader so I'm surprised you missed the preview we wrote about this. Next time, man! Thanks for the compliment; Fran is sensitive :) He's a 6-foot, 7-inch ball of sensitivity.

LOL... nice. Yeah maybe next time. Theres the Naugatuck show on Sat (?) Ill try and make that one. One of my fave subjects is cars but shows arw hard to shoot because there are so many people milling about and to get a good shot takes tons of patience. If my wife doesnt have any jobs for me to do I will go.. lol
