How is it possible t rehome an animal before a hearing...If the animal had t be seized then why was…Read More it rehomed so quickly...I venture to say it was not lawful to seize an entire group of animals based on one old horse...
animal seizures and rescues are being conducted by a very sophisticated network of organized crime who have developed a very sophisticated scheme by which they are criminalizing longstanding animal and livestock owners; divesting them of
ownership of entire herds of livestock and commercially valuable animals.
all of it done at taxpayer expense and thru a highly developed scheme to collect
donations. follow the animals ~ follow the money!!!

If you were looking for someone like this, have a spare cage or dungeon and can open your heart for this one, feel free to call. Adopting family must be aweful and mean ans show a complete lack of human compassion!

Hay Ed what would you think about a defensive weapon built into the Bank counter at waste height?…Read More All the teller would have to do was push a button. besides all tellers are trained to comply. why should they risk there lives for money? They used to make sash lock guns for double hung windows, break in through the window and bang right in your face.
Ed Smith April 6, 2013 at 05:10 pm
I thought all the guns people have were supposed to deter crime. What happened? All those…Read More armed-to-the-teeth law-abiding citizens and still a bank robbery?
And why does the photo caption of the robber say "alleged"? Nobody is named here, so its not a case of defamation. If the bank says this is a picture of the robber then the newspaper should say "this is a picture of the robber, according to the bank." Let the man in the picture then come forward and sue the bank if he wants to identify himself and show the allegations aren't true.

U can't read. I said I'm not blaming the police. There r rules to follow as an officer in a pursuit…Read More as well as citizens needing to follow the law to pull over when requested to by an officer. if a person is driving drunk there will be plenty of signs for an officer to know that they need to pull that person over. However, driving drunk does not require a high speed chase... No where does it say that you may pursue drivers in a high speed chase if they r presumed to be drunk. Just as the law doesn't say you may pursue a driver for undercarrige lights that are illegal in a high speed chase for an "infraction." Just sayin' ;) "Dad in Oxford" If a drunk driver crashes into a family member or friend of mine and there was no pursiut, I'd say the responsible person was the drunk driver. If a drunk driver crashes into a family member or friend of mine and there was a high speed chase involved, I'd say the drunk driver and the officer were responsible.
Dad in Oxford April 17, 2013 at 11:19 am
I am not sure why you continue to blame the police for the actions of the driver who disobeyed the…Read More law when they did not pull over for the police.
What if the police noticed someone not come to a complete stop at a stop sign, a minor offense in all our eyes, and they decided not to pursue because it was a such a minor offense, but that car eventually smashed into your sons because the driver was drunk. Would you then blame the police for not pursuing a drunk driver?
The police need to uphold the law and we, all of us, need to respect it and pull over if a police officer turns their lights on. That action alone would have saved your sons life that night. The pursuit of the officer did not cause this crash, the driver did. Stop blaming the police.

I appreciate your comment Jenn G. It was worded kindly. Well thought out. And wiith complete…Read More respect. And I am honesly not disagreeing with you. Yes, Eric should have pulled over, no doubt about that. And I also feel that "someone" should have backed off once things became too dangerous. Eric isn't from another country visiting CT, he would have been found at another day and time

A statement from Stephen J. Sedensky III, State’s Attorney for the Judicial District of…Read More Danbury, clarifies what several readers have pointed out as factual inaccuracies contained in the court documents. Sedensky's statement reads, in part:
"The released search warrants were obtained on December 14, 15, 16, 2012, within a short time of the shootings. Subsequent investigation revealed that shootings took place in two of the classrooms, not three, and that the shooter was not wearing a bullet-proof vest, nor was he a teenager."
The full statement may be found at the following link: http://www.ct.gov/csao/cwp/view.asp?a=1801&Q=521714
Given this information, I have corrected the article so that it now accurately reflects the facts as provided by authorities.

This may be a stupid question but if this is a Sandy Hook Elementary student!a family why don't they…Read More use the millions of dollars already at their disposal to help them?

I completely agree with you! Honestly, the state police had no clue that this would occur? I will…Read More say I am shocked at the number, I'm curious to see how they are going to process all these. The unemployment rate in our state is 8%. I know a number of people who would love to have the work! Think outside the box Malloy....or at least be somewhat progressive!
Robert Williams May 7, 2013 at 07:02 pm
"We didn't see this coming and there was no way we could be prepared for it," Stebbins…Read More added.
Really? You didn't see this coming?

Becareful what you wish for. Malloy and the other law makers wanted these laws passed and now it's…Read More on them. The estimated 17 million does not seem to include the 4 gun manufacturers that may leave the state, which would raise that number as well as the unemployment rate. Doesn't seem that 90%+ of CT wanted those gun laws.

"FBI agents aren’t allowed to treat individuals associated with terrorist groups as…Read More potential threats to the nation...
"The fact that a terrorism suspect is associated with a terrorist group means nothing, according to the FBI document, 'Guiding Principles: Touchstone Document on Training.'...
"This is a bizarre kind of procedural fairness as viewed in a funhouse mirror, applying something akin to a 'beyond a reasonable doubt' standard to an FBI investigation. ...it sets the bar far too high for mere investigations. This new rule no doubt provides aid and comfort to the much-investigated phony civil rights group known as the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR)."...
"The touchstone document also invokes the gods of political correctness by making FBI agents afraid of being called 'racist' – even though almost all Islamic terrorism suspects come from the same part of the world."
http://frontpagemag.com/2012/matthew-vadum/terrorist-don’t-ask-don’t-tell/
"Around the same time the bureau interviewed [2012, Tamerlan] Tsarnaev, changes in the FBI training manual took place as well. The FBI's own departmental counter-terrorism analytic lexicon was purged of key words that could reference Islamic terrorism. Words like Muslim, Islam, Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, and sharia were not mentioned once in the FBI's counter-terrorism lexicon afterwards."

D. Tsarnaev swore allegiance to the U.S. on 9/11/2012 when he received U.S. citizenship, and among…Read More other things vowed:
"I hereby declare, on oath,
that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen;
"that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic;
"that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same;
..."and that I take this obligation freely without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God.
"In acknowledgement whereof I have hereunto affixed my signature."
He is a TRAITOR, because of the vicious, Terrorist murders, maiming and mayhem he committed last week, in contradiction of everything he swore an OATH to some seven months ago!
His callous and abominable terrorist attacks are evidence that he turned against the country and Constitution he swore allegiance to, if he did not have "any mental reservation or purpose of evasion" on the day he swore the oath--which is a distinct possibility!
Shouldn't such traitors be deemed to have relinquished some of their "rights" of citizenship?

The WARNING by Russia against Tamerlan Tsarnaev in 2011 was "absolute gold," which Obama's…Read More policies prevented the FBI from taking seriously!! This is according to a former U.S. Attorney. He said this morning that if the FBI had been allowed to act correctly on this warning, these bombings on Monday would have been prevented!
The president is not only derelict in his most essential duty, to PROTECT Americans, but he actively obstructs the prosecution of the "War on TERROR," because he denies that radical Jihadi terrorists exist and want to kill Americans!
How can Americans be protected if our military can't, and the "Justice" dept. WON'T call TERRORISTS what they are?! Consider the radical Jihadist who slaughtered many at Ft. Hood--labeled by O "workplace violence"!
O refuses to acknowledge that radical Jihadis are our ENEMIES--in fact he invites CAIR and other radical Muslim enablers into the WH, and appoints them to government jobs!
His real mouthpiece, David Axelrod, encouraged the idea that "Tax Day" and right-wing extremists were likely responsible for the vile acts perpetrated at the Marathon on Monday. CNN, Esquire and others were absolutely salivating for such to be true, and indulged in disgusting speculation blaming a conservative group or persons!
Oh, to live in a nation where our enemies are identified by name and it's considered acceptable in popular discourse to err on the side of insult when speaking of those who are trying to kill us!

Hey Joe,
Anyone arrogant enough to reject the verdict of the judge or of the priest who represents…Read More the LORD your God must be put to death. Such evil must be purged from Israel. (Deuteronomy 17:12)
A man or a woman who acts as a medium or fortuneteller shall be put to death by stoning; they have no one but themselves to blame for their death. (Leviticus 20:27)
Just 2 passages from The Bible that encourage killing. So lets take religion out of the picture. Regardless of what creed or nationality the perpetrators are, it must be recognized that this tragedy, like other recent governmentally encouraged/exploited tragedies (Aurora shooting, Sandy Hook Massacre, etc.) will be used exclusively to push tighter gun control laws on the American populace.
These laws must be resisted.

Ummmmm, Amanda. You need to get skooled if you don't think there are Muslims in Russia.

Ed Smith April 12, 2013 at 05:12 pm
If not an inside job, then still the robbers knew the kidnap victims enough to find them at home and…Read More show them the uncommon jewelry-store-robber-courtesy of not harming them.
Apparently the firearms of the "well-regulated militia" are not being properly used, as they were brandished by the robbers. In fact, virtually every one of the guns used in a crime was originally sold through a legal retail transaction. If military-issued guns were being used in crimes, we would never say the military was well-regulated. But the militia? That became a fiction with the end of the Indian wars, devolving into millions of individuals with arsenals of firepower beyond what the Founding Fathers could ever have imagined.

I almost went with the ruger LC9 9MM but the .380 was nice and tiny and fits perfectly in my pocket with a pocket holster. i even forget its there.

Had to look on YouTube to figure out how to open the can! Lol
Do you ever go to Naugatuck outdoor range?

But still, if that was the cost of 100 Rounds of 9MM, Thats one cal im not owning...lol
