Ally Caple
A senior at Oxford High School, Ally Caple is heavily involved in her school community. Student Council president, yearbook editor, FBLA officer, and class officer are only some of her current accomplishments.
Outside of school, Ally has been involved in Oxford Special Olympics for over eight years. She is certified as both a coach and unified partner in Special Olympics volleyball. She has also helped with creating set designs for school productions at all four schools in Oxford. Besides working hard in school and being busy with volunteer work, Ally spends a lot of free time taking pictures. With photography has her main hobby, she photographs school and community events, as well as student headshots. Ally is the Director of Social Media and Community Awareness for Backpack Basics (www.backpackbasics.org). Backpack Basics is a non-profit organization started by Will Denslow in 2010. Originally started for his Eagle Scout project, Will created his organization to collect backpacks and school supplies for underprivileged children in the Valley. But over this past year, Backpack Basics has become FBLA-ran, with help from the Patch as one of their main supporters. For her Capstone project, she is working with Kathy and Kelly of Simply K Studios to gain experience in a photography studio. After high school, Ally hopes to double major in Business and Art at a school either in Connecticut or New York. And later in life, she hopes to open her own photography studio and art gallery.
