Ann Gamauf , Neighbor

I'm a Connecticut girl!  Grew up in Orange & Bethany.  Married and have two fantastic kids! 

I am leading a blessed life - healthy, kind, wonderful children, I want for nothing; life is good!

I've always been an avid horse rider.  Now, due to money constraints, it's tough for me to actually ride these days!  So, I volunteer at Pegasus - a theraputic riding stable in Brewster, NY.  It's a thrill to help special needs kids make huge strides in their lives simply by riding a horse!  And, it satisfies my 'horse-jones', too!

I'm one of the Oxford Girl Scout service unit managers - training new leaders and helping existing leaders become the best they can be!  I co-lead a troop with my pal, Suzanne Palys, keeping our older girls involved with scouting because it's just so good for them!  I love being involved with this - I've met SO many awesome women in town who selflessly give their time to GS. 

I'm getting an associate's degree in business from NVCC - I should be done in the spring 2013.  (Never did finish a degree when I was young - partied too much and was too immature!)

Looking forward to keep contributing to others around me, volunteering when I can!
