Born in Ecuador, moved to the USA in 1978 to this beautiful town of Oxford. My family settled in Oxford in 1972 and were one of the first Latin American families to settle in Oxford.
Became a Republican while helping Uncle Dick, the late State Representative Richard Belden, stuff campaign bags he realized that I was not registered to vote. He made several phone calls, got me registered and a special visit to the State Capitol (at that time I was only in the USA for a few years and did not have the opportunity to see it). Even though President Reagan’s re-election was a sure win, he said every vote counts and yours does too Tanya. He always campaigned even if he was unopposed.
I am a senior employee for Pitney Bowes Inc. and manage sales reporting for our US based sales force with an annual sales quota of ½ Billion.
One of my favorite hobbies is racing cars.
