Another Tax Increase?!

It seems that lately we have been used to seeing our elected officials tack 3.4%-3.6% increases to the budget year after year.  Keep in mind that like interest, these increases are compounded with no thought to the fact that we will be living with a current rate that will eventually be many times higher by virtue of this compounding factor.  Has anyone at the town office ever heard of the word cost containment or fiscal responsibility?  I for one will vote this down until we see a zero percent increase or even better, a rollback to FY 2010.  Is any one else as upset as I am about this lack of responsibility?  We get virtually no town services and my real estate tax alone is approaching $8,500/yr!  Enough already.  This is getting laughable at best, tragic at worst!
